"A reliable company you can feel okay trusting"
SAP feels like one of those companies you can trust because they’ve been around forever and so many large businesses rely on them. Their website comes across as professional and gives enough information without feeling shady or pushy. I wouldn’t say every product is easy to figure out, but as a vendor, they seem steady and dependable. when you’re choosing business software, it feels like basic decency to go with a company that takes reliability seriously and won’t leave people hanging.

"Surprisingly helpful docs and training"
I’ll be honest, I was kind of suspicious at first and figured the training would be vague or the docs would be a mess. But the training was actually clear, and the documentation was easy to follow. It helped me way more than I expected.

"Pretty easy to use"
I had a smooth time using the site. I found what I was looking for quickly, so I guess that means the layout was good. Pages loaded fine for me and nothing really made me stop and wonder what to do next.

"Helpful reports, but the setup felt like a lot"
The analytics are actually detailed and useful once you get into them, but the setup took more time than I expected. Maybe it’s just me, but it felt like I had to figure out way more than I should’ve before I could really benefit from it. Good tool overall, just a bit overwhelming at first...

"Localization feels like it needs too much hand-holding"
In my experience, using SAP across a few countries has been uneven when it comes to localization. Some places are mostly fine, especially with tax rules and language support, but others feel like they need way more manual setup than I expected.
The translations are another thing that stood out to me. They technically work, but sometimes they sound strange or just not like the wording our local teams would actually use day to day. We’ve also had to lean on partners more than I personally think should be necessary for a product this global.

Support can be frustrating too, with help pages that send you around in circles, and every now and then an update seems to break some small country-specific detail. It does get the job done, but from my point of view, it takes too much babysitting to make it feel genuinely local

"Great partners... but the help part was messy!!"
They definitely have a ton of partners, which is nice!! But trying to find actual help when I needed it was kind of a hassle... like, way harder than it should’ve been???

"Grew with us better than I expected"
We started small with SAP and, as our team grew, we kept adding more people and departments without everything falling apart. It definitely wasn’t always simple, but it held up really well as the business got bigger. My small win was not having to push for a whole new system every time we expanded.

"Pretty dependable once its set up"
sap has been solid for our team so far. It did take a while to get everything set up, but once it was running, it started doing what we needed without much fuss. Its not the quickest thing to get going, but overall its been reliable and gets the job done

"Works well once everyone stops resisting it"
Rolling out SAP across our teams has been kind of a mixed bag. Finance picked it up quickly, which made me a little suspicious, like they secretly got the better training manual or knew something the rest of us didn’t. Sales and ops, though, still need reminders and a bit of hand-holding before it really sticks.
When everyone actually follows the same process, it does what it’s supposed to do. The tricky part is getting everyone on board without feeling like the system was designed by a committee hiding in a windowless room somewhere. The screens are a little heavy and not exactly friendly, but it’s not bad overall. It just takes more nudging than we expected...

"Pretty easy to adjust to how we work"
SAP has actually fit our odd setup better than I expected. We were able to tweak workflows, fields, and roles without a ton of hassle, which was a big deal for our team. Some of the menus still feel a bit confusing at times, but the setup options are super deep and useful once you get used to it. Overall, it works well for us and didnt take as much pain to customize as I thought it would...

"Security seems strong, but the details aren’t always easy to find"
We use SAP partly because it seems solid when it comes to security and compliance, and overall it does feel dependable. That said, when I’m trying to find a simple answer or some kind of proof/documentation, it can be kind of frustrating. It works well enough, but sometimes it feels more complicated than it probably needs to be.

"A Bit Pricey, but It Does Deliver"
SAP definitely isn’t the cheapest option out there, the pricing felt a little hard to swallow at first. I wasn’t totally sure we were making the right call. But after using it for a while, I can see the value more clearly. It helps us stay organized and saves a decent amount of time, which does make a difference. I still wish the plans and pricing were easier to understand, but overall, I’d say we’re getting what we pay for...

"Felt like I might’ve been sold a dream"
The whole implementation took way longer than I expected, and the integrations kept breaking at the worst times. I started getting that uneasy feeling like maybe I’d been fooled by the sales pitch and the reality just wasn’t matching up. Support did respond eventually, but waiting so long for answers made the whole experience frustrating.

"Keeps audits... a bit less messy"
It’s been helpful for keeping audits from turning into a whole mess. The data rules are easy to set up, and the audit logs are simple to follow... which makes everything feel a lot less stressful

"Used to be quicker, but still helpful"
It used to be a lot faster, so the slower pace now is a little frustrating. That said, the help I got was still useful, and the staff did their best to sort things out.

"Decent, but not quite a fit for us"
It seems like a solid product overall, but it felt a little too generic for what we need in manufacturing. I can see it working well for some businesses, just not quite right for our specific workflow

"Overall, it works fine and does what..."
Overall, it works fine and does what we need it to do. The only thing that gets a little tiring is the maintenance side, our admin has to keep checking in on it regularly, which can feel like babysitting. It’s not a huge deal, but it does get a bit frustrating after a while.

"I was genuinely interested in sap for our..."
I was genuinely interested in sap for our team, but the sales call felt rushed. For some reason, it seemed like the focus was more on upselling than actually understanding what we needed. It also took longer than expected to get clear pricing, and the follow-up emails kept coming even after I said we needed some time to think it over. Just didn’t feel like the best start.

"Our SAP release updates have been mostly smooth..."
Our SAP release updates have been mostly smooth so far. The schedule is usually clear and things feel well planned out, which helps a lot. Some of the upgrade notes take me a bit to wrap my head around, and I’ll sometimes end up rereading them or jumping between sections, but in the end it’s manageable. Overall, it works fine for our team.
